Prior to entering Real
Estate Bob was a teacher, college
administrator, and founder and CEO of
Sterling Petroleum Company, an independent
oil drilling and production company. Bob is a fourth generation member of his family to live in
Estes Park. His great-grandfather homesteaded here
in 1875, and was active in early Colorado
real estate. The family still maintains the
original homestead. His great-aunt Ida developed the
first sub-division, (the McCreery
sub-division) in Larimer County, located on
Devils Gulch Road. Bob is married to Linda, and they
have two daughters. Their daughter Heather, continues the
tradition in Estes Park as a fifth
generation McCreery. Her two children are sixth generation.
